Know the difference between HCG and HGH

Hormones, also known as chemical messengers, are secreted directly into the blood that carries them to all the tissues and organs of the body to apply their functions. There are several types of hormones that act on different aspects of various bodily functions and processes.

Two hormones that act as mind-blowing weight loss aids are

  1. HCG (Human chorionic gonadotropin)
  2. HGH (Human growth hormone)

Although their initials sound strikingly similar, comparing HCG vs. HGH is like comparing night to day. HCG and HGH are two very distinct hormones. You cannot substitute one of them for the other as the benefits they provide or the way they function are not the same.

A possible reason that some people do talk about HCG and HGH together in the same category is for their role in aiding weight loss. However, although both HCG and HGH can help in the reduction of unwanted fat, they go about it quite differently.

What is HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin)?

Human chorionic gonadotrophin or HCG is often associated with pregnant women. It helps in providing nourishment to the growing fetus in the case when nausea might inhibit the food intake by the mother. It allows the body to release stored fat to use as nutrition and a source of energy. HCG levels increase when a woman is pregnant. This is one of the reasons HCG is an indicator for pregnancy.

What is HGH (Human Growth Hormone)?

HGH, a hormone naturally produced in the body by the pituitary gland, spurs growth in children and adolescents. HGH also helps regulate body fluids, body composition, bone and muscle growth, metabolism, and heart function.

How do HCG and HGH Work and help in weight loss?

HCG

HCG’s role in the production of nutrition involves the breakdown of fat reserves so that they can be used for nutrition and energy. As a result, HGH increases metabolism, increases energy levels, and controls appetite.

The HCG works by tricking the brain into thinking more food was consumed than it actually was, so the body does not enter into starvation mode. A starving body will hold onto stored fat instead of utilizing energy from the muscles. Also, HCG maintains muscle mass and integrity while promoting the burning of stored fat.

HGH

It improves body composition, increasing muscle mass as well as bone mass and decreasing stored fat by breaking down fatty acids for oxidation (turning fatty acids into energy that the body can use in the Kreb’s cycle)

How much weight can one hope to lose with HCG and HGH?

HCG Diet is a weight loss plan that enables adults to maintain a 500 calorie per day diet for about six weeks while administering HCG injections. Most adults can lose between half to one and one and a half pounds each day with the HCG Diet. Users have to follow specific instructions and guidelines about what they can and cannot eat while on the HCG diet. The HCG weight loss plan eliminates carbohydrates, fats, dairy, and sugars from the diet.

When comparing HCG to HGH for weight loss, the effects and the way each of them works are incredibly different. HCG works almost instantly, whereas HGH takes a much longer time to provide results.

Whereas HCG brings about rapid weight loss, only if the user is on restricted caloric intake and a strict diet; HGH does not require any dietary changes.

If you are overweight and have GHD (growth hormone deficient), you can expect to lose about 10% of your overall body fat percentage during a six-month program. However, that does not necessarily mean you will lose weight on the scale. Most users gain approximately the same amount of lean muscle mass in place of fat.

Can you take both, HCG and HGH together?

There is little to no evidence to suggest that any kind of increased benefits are attained by using HCG and HGH together at the same time. As a matter of fact, doing so can possibly result in some serious and dangerous drug interactions. Hence, it is not recommended to use HCG and HGH at the same time.

Which is the Better Option when it comes to weight loss, and why?

While strictly speaking of weight loss, the better option is HCG, as it provides instant and assured results, whereas HGH will most likely only affect people who are overweight or suffer from HGD (Human Growth Deficiency). Instead of losing weight, your body will take on a more physically toned appearance.
